Medical Nutrition Therapy
Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) is an essential component of comprehensive health care. Registered dietitians provide evidenced- based nutrition interventions and strategies that are specific to the patient’s unique needs. Individual nutrition counseling is offered by Carrie Reynoso, RD, LD, CLT for both children and adults with a variety of conditions or illnesses to help improve their overall health and quality of life. Carrie focuses her practice on encouraging healthy lifestyles and eating habits, with a special emphasis on helping patients overcome the problems related to food allergies, intolerances and sensitivities.
Carrie Reynoso graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. She was awarded registration from the Commission of Dietetics and licensure from the Minnesota Board of Dietetics & Nutrition. As a certified LEAP therapist (CLT), Carrie has specialized training in the management of food sensitivities, allergies and intolerances. Her proficiency in the area of adverse food reactions has provided patients with relief from the distress commonly associated with gastrointestinal disorders, skin conditions, Autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, migraines, and auto-immune conditions.
